XTAR High Performance LED Lights D02 R4 / D06 XM-L / S1 3 XML     XTAR S1 2350 Lumens Max: The XTAR S1 is a premium high-powered flashlight for outdoor activities. It uses three of the latest CREE XM-L U2 LEDs, and is powered by three 18650 or 18700 button-top batteries. The maximum beam throw is up to 475 meters, with a maximum runtime of 400 hours at the minimum output. The up to 2350 lumens maximum ouput and the infinitely adjustable preset output mode are impressive key features of this outstanding flashlight. The XTAR S1 also features independent drivers for the LEDs: if one LED or driver fails, the other two continue to operate normally. Excellent heat dissipation and high-strength construction provide additional robustness and durability. The Preset mode allows quick access to an output level that you can customize. The Preset mode is adjustable to any brightness level between 15 lumens and 2350 lumens by using the magnetic selector ring. Once a brightness level is selected, that level is memorized, even when the batteries are removed for charging. The XTAR S1 is designed to operate with three batteries, but if necessary the S1 can operate at low output levels with just one or two batteries. Warning: Using high output levels with one or two batteries can damage or shorten the life of your batteries, or trip the protection circuits of protected batteries. . To select an output mode: Rotate the silver selector ring. With the ▲ symbol on the selector ring set to the “O” position, rotate the ring to the left to select High, Strobe, and SOS modes. Or rotate the ring to the right to select Preset and Select modes. To set the Preset mode output:  Rotate the selector ring ▲ to the Select position. The light output will begin to ramp up and down, starting from the current Preset output level. When the light output reaches the level that you want to save as your Preset mode, rotate the selector ring ▲ quickly back to the Preset position. The range of the Select mode is 15 lumens to 2350 lumens. Ramping time 23.5 sec, and there will be a 1.5 seconds pause at approximately 3%, 25%, 75%, 98% output level to ensure the precisely selecting of brightness.
