9AN Commander The 9AN is the flagship model of the Commander series of advanced rechargeable flashlights, it incorporates two independent lamps in a single reflector to provide either a super-bright 140 lumens for 40 minutes, or, by rotating the bezel, 20 lumens of general illumination light for 2.5 hours. The 9AN Commander is precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminium, finished in super rugged military specification Type III hard anodizing (available in Black or Olive Drab), and features an optically coated, tempered Pyrex lens window.  comes with two B90 batteries, a Smart Charger that uses microprocessor technology to protect the battery and charger from the voltage spikes typical of automotive and marine electrical systems, and an AC transformer and DC auto adaptor. The 9AN also features unique switching originally developed for law enforcement- twist for constant on, or depress the tailcap button for momentary illumination or emergency signaling. The 9AN Commander is perfect for the law enforcement officer or civilian who needs a high output tactical/search light and a long-running general purpose light in one rechargeable package.
